This gripall / shotgun hot stick is an essential piece of Insulating equipment to protect technicians when working with high voltage machines and conductors, where a chance of electric shock, arc or blast are likely. 

This Fameca insulating operating shotgun stick is made from foam-cored tubes in epoxy fibreglass that meet and exceed all applicable industry standards. This hot stick has a sliding lever mechanism. This mechanism allows the technician to open and close the hot stick, that allows a technician to attach a hot stick to a disconnect / shotgun ring. Designed for installing hot line and grounding clamps.
